Rather than editing /etc/apt/sources.list by hand, you can take the
user-friendly route:
start Synaptic:
System -> Administration -> Synaptic Package Manger
in Synaptic, select the Repository configuration:
Settings -> Repositories
Click on the "Add" button and select the various components.
