[K12OSN] screen saver

using k12ltsp and the "rom-omatic" floppy disk on the terminals.
if i don't use the terminal for a length of time instead of a screen 
saver coming up or the screen blanking the screen reverts back to text 
mode and displays what i believe to be the last things that were on the 
display before going into graphics mode. does anyone know how to stop 
this ?? i would like for the screen to just go blank. in control 
center->apperance and themes->screen saver i have set it for "blank 
screen", but that doesn't seem to help.
