[K12OSN] making a live CD...?

One way to get an image of the CD is to:
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/path/to/iso/imagfile.iso
This will take an image of a CD from the CDROM and place it wherever you
specify.
then you can use XCDRoast to burn the iso. Make sure you write it as a
track and not a file. If you write it as a file, you will have ine big
file on the CD of whatever you named the file. If you write it as a
track, you'll have several files but notht efilename of the file you
wrote.
