My clients use icewm but here is the file

[ark at server ~]$ cat  /etc/X11/gdm/Sessions/GNOME
#!/bin/bash

exec /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession gnome

As for the other problem. Not sure exactly what's happening but the
first time you click on vNc it takes some time to start the reflector
and the clients sometimes do not get the session. Simply click on vNc
a second time and things should be okay. I mentioned this in the
vncreflector howto on my site. Hoping this is your problem.
