[K12OSN] How do you handle the 'write' command

Hi folks,

My always quizzical students have discovered the 'write' command and are 
sending messages. I can think of two methods to stop this, one is to change 
the permissions on the commands in /usr/bin and the other is to add "mesg n" 
to the login script.... the problem is I don't know which solution would be 
better and, to be honest <grin> I don't know to which file I should add "mesg 
n"? Any help would be appreciated.
