[K12OSN] remote home directories

Not sure what page you're referring to, but if you just export the /home directory on 
one server:

exportfs -o rw :/home

and then on the other machine mount that export:

mount machine1:/home /home

you should be good to go, assuming the user's UIDs are the same on both machines.
