I'm curious as to which server you got....some of my older ones did not
particularly like FC4, but I was able to get them working with noapic and
acpi=off at the boot prompt....if you do this on install then it will
stick as part of the boot menu.  Once I did that they worked slick....in
fact, fast than last year!  I bought a new server this year that appears
to be using some different hardware...such as a different SCSI
controller....it simply works all around.  Now the older servers worked
fine with FC2 and 3....so go figure.  If you add an additional NIC....will
that get detected?  I realize it may not be gigabit, but we're just
testing here.
