[K12OSN] push icon script

The cow is out of the barn. I have 700 some odd users already entered in 
the ldap server and need to either change the home page of everyone... 
some how or push a link. Is it possible to run the push-icon script from 
a k12ltspEL terminal install on a k12ltspEL smb-ldap server setup? The 
librarian is upset because the home page for everyone is google and not 
the library. .
Any thoughts or different way to do it is appreciated.
