Thanks Jim!

I'm now booted as a real thin client, complete with sound (needed for 
Strongbad emails, of course. http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail.html)

The only glitch was the USB mouse I am trying to use.  Maybe LTSP 3.0 
didn't have USB mouse support (I dont' see the hid module anywhere) -- 
but I just swapped to a PS/2 mouse, and all is well.
