There is a new program called tsync, which is supposed
to do what rsync does, but it does it automatically.
When one directory/file is updated, that
directory/file is automatically updated on other
machines.

http://tsyncd.sourceforge.net/

It was developed by a college student and won some
contest that Google was sponsoring for the development
of open source software.
