[K12OSN] Linux Client Authentication with Samba PDC?

Kevin,

You don't need LDAP - you can authenticate off of SAMBA. I've got 
description of how we do it with Ubuntu (some dual boot with WinXP, some 
just Linux) at http://tech.canterburyschool.org/tech/UbuntuWorkstations 
. The one difference is that our PDC is actually a WinNT box, but it 
should work on a SAMBA PDC.
