Actually, it's not that it wasn't done properly, but yet it was done
differently. This is actually a MueKow implementation of LTSP.
AND...remember that the LTSP bits were essentially shoved into Edubuntu
just prior to the last release in October, thus there is a long way to go.
I know we'll see a huge improvement in Dapper as Oliver Grauwert and the
rest of the Edubuntu team are working hard on this. So....it's not that
it wasn't done properly....it was indeed....in fact it's pretty cool to
see the result of one of the first MueKow implementations. Now...I do
happen to agree that I would not recommend this implementation of
Edubuntu/LTSP for production use...and the Edubuntu guys would agree with
me. The Breezy implementation was more of a "proof-of-concept" as opposed
to the release we should see with Dapper.

Also....Matt and I met at length with Warren Togami, Chris DeKoneigsburg,
and several other Fedora/Redhat folks about LTSP, K12LTSP (in particular)
, and Linux in Education in general. It was such an exciting
conversation/meeting that I still have goosebumps. Warren and Chris are
very cool and they too shared our enthusiasm for Linux in education.
Many...many...points were discussed, but in short....we're going to see
some seriously cool support for the K12LTSP project and Linux in Education
in general coming our way over the next few months. Hang on....it's going
to be a great ride!
