Go to the MPlayer site....download and install the win32 codecs.  You are
trying to play windows proprietary formats....you need the appropiate
codecs to do so.  You may want to switch to MPlayer as the default player
in this case, but the codecs should work with totem....you may need to
change something in the preferences.
