Below are the screenshots of the bootup process. Im trying to get this server up before school starts (Monday). eeek! Btw- it works fine on the older 4.x.x distros. Any ideas?

I did a search on the kernel mailing list and all of the reports I saw
on this they were using 3c59x ethernet cards, which I see you have as well.
I have an older kernel (2.6.14 vs 2.6.17.3) that may work. Give this a spin:

If that doesn't fix it, you can get back to the latest kernel with:
yum install ltsp_i386-boot
