Check out smb4k (http://smb4k.berlios.de/).  It's been a while since I've used it, but I think it might do what you're looking for.  I believe it's available in the Fedora Extras repository.
 
I should mention, though, that smb4k is a KDE app.  I never tried it in GNOME, so I do not know how will it would work with that desktop environment.
