It depends totally on the GUI of the app. I think a app that needs a
lot of right-clicking just has a badly designed interface. The
options you want to access most should be right in front of you. And
on a lot of OS X they are (at least it's working for me). A lot of
Linux apps could learn a thing or two in this area.

Actually it *is* the default mouse included with new systems.

Sure, I have a cheap Logitech optical mouse myself. Never use it
though, the built-in trackpad with tap-dragging and two-finger
scrolling enabled is just heavenly. :o)

OK, I just don't think Apple thinks their users are "too stupid" (as
you put it) to use a multi-button mouse.
