[K12OSN] Sharing LTSP user setings with remote site

One question to answer is how quickly do changes on one system have to be synchronized
on the other? The fact that you've got a T1 suggests there is at least a little
distance between the two; how likely is a user to, say, create a document while at one
site and then move to the other site and need access to that same document?

Where I'm going with this is you could setup a nightly rsync script to copy changes in
/home, /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, /etc/group,...and I think there's another file you need
that escapes me at the moment (check the archives). Even if you do have users who are
in both places one the same day, you could push an icon out to the desktop that calls an
rsync script for just that user.
