[K12OSN] Opinion: CD vs DVD vs Download for Schools Release

Hi,

Here's an issue of great debate in the Edubuntu circles, and I've been
asked to solicit your opinions.

What does this audience consider the best compromise route if a bundled
education release starts to run into the 1 CD storage limit ?

Bearing in mind the following constraints:

* many school environment run on older equipment
  = more CD than DVD drives

* many schools don't have great Internet connectivity
  = download of add-on packages can be tedious or even impossible

* a 2 CD release adds to press & print & ship cost overheads
  = for a 100% free request & receive send end user offering
