[K12OSN] power...seti at home overloading computers

put the setiathome distributed computing operation on the computer to run
when the machines are not being used.  problem is that the process is
overloading the computers and shutting them down in the middle of the
night when no one is arround, I have had to reboot everything first thing
in the morning, to check things out I have had it "Suspended" past couple
days and everything is working fine, have limited the amount of time it
runs but that doesn't seem to be working,  any tricks to say have the
process only run for an hour then suspend for a while and then pick it up
again
