[K12OSN] import windows fonts?

Is there a simple way to import Windows (truetype or?) Fonts into K12?
I tried to copy and paste from a CD into the fonts folder and nothing seemed to happen.
If I need to do an intermediary conversion, I would appreciate some advice on how to do that, if possible.
I really appreciate all the help you great people give. I hope someday I can help others out with the knowledge I learn here.
