Another one you might look at is Zimbra, www.zimbra.com. It's all browser-based, with a lot of AJAX so that it seems similar to working with dedicated mail clients. They have a free open source version. The advantage of Open-Xchange is that it works with Outlook; the disadvantage is that it works with Outlook, meaning you're still leaving users tied to platform-specific, proprietary apps. I haven't worked with either of them, but I follow them both (and some other mail systems) in anticipation of needing to replace an MS Exchange system some day.
