I have finally downloaded and installed the main server.
Now the instructions in LTSP project for setting up the terminal are
quite confusing to
me and I am not sure if there is a direct step by step method for
setting up a workstation is available.
I want to use a CD boot method and not sure what to do next.
In my experience, you only have two ways to boot the thin client
(terminals), either a PXE (network boot) or from a boot floppy.

Please help stir me in the right direction as I am so lost here :(.
Thanks a bunch.

Ron,
Don't ya just love it. Everyone telling you how simple a Linux project
is and they you get killed the first step out of the box?
I'm testing the K12LTSP lab concept and I've posted some notes at
http://www.vcsvikings.org/tose/doku.php
see the article k12ltspsetup

I have a four station K12LTSP lab working in a distant classroom. So far
(since Thanksgiving) I have made four support calls - three times the
server shut down because of power failures and one kid trashed her
profile so totally that I created a new one. For the amount of time
these computers are on and the skill level of the students using them
(4th grade), they are the nearest thing to a trouble-free computer
system going.
Good luck
