[K12OSN] smoothwall revisited

Having banged my noggin for a week  or is it a month..thought id holler
for help..Ive bastardized a smoothwall2 install to support ldap
authentication,tweaked the denied page to add a bypass link and linked
that to a simople cgi script that prompts for username and pw..and can
manipulate the values given..The misssing piece is injecting that into
dansguardian s check for bypass ability..Anyone autopsied dansguardian to
the point they can access this function..
BAsic requirements...transparent proxy..one filter group..bypass ability..
Any ideas..comments..insults..ramblings..even answers appreciated..chuck
