[K12OSN] Scribus

Has anyone had any experience runnning the Aqua version of Scribus on OS X.
I downloaded it and it is just slllooowwww. I am on a G4 ibook, but it just
doesn't cut it. I am using the X11 version through Fink, but that is at
version 1.2. The Aqua version is up to the latest build. I am guessing the
slowness is just related to the free QT tools they are using to do it.
Anybody else having any luck with this?
