[K12OSN] terminal local devices - floppy, cdrom, usb - "export local devices with samba"

What version of K12LTSP. are you using?
I thought MToolsFM was about as simple and foolproof as you could get as
far as transfering from your home folder to usb drive or floppy for
students. From what you are describing you may may perms,on your home
folders not right,If you have floppy access enabled in the lts.conf file
that's really all you need and floppy usb/pen drive access should work,if
you are using v 4.4.1 K12LTSP. if using older version you will only get
floppy access unless you do some hacking.
do the following in a terminal.

chmod -c -R 644 /home/*

see if that cures your access denied prob.
