[K12OSN] OpenOffice Curriculum

FWIW, I have run into similar resistance.  Solveig Haugland, author of one of the 
definitive books on OOo, does have training manuals, workbooks, etc. for use in teaching 
OOo classes.  You can find them at www.getopenoffice.org.  They're not free, but they 
don't cost very much either.
