[K12OSN] Flash Problems

Flash plugin has suddenly started having problems on some of the sites 
our younger users access.  Sites like noggin.com and cartoonnetwork.com 
evidently have switched to Flash v.8x.  Some things still work, but it 
appears Flash 8 is quickly going to be the norm.  What is worse, a lot 
of sites have imbedded flash detection routines in their home pages that 
hang if something less than v.8 is installed.

With the Linux version of Flash stuck at 7.0 we are once again the poor 
step-sisters in the world.  I understand that Macromedia is working on a 
Linux Flash 8.5, but could not find out when it will be out.
