it has the full story I saw.  I tried going to oregonlive.com, but the
link required registration. I didn't want to bother with it.  I think
they just want some basic demographics.   Like I said, the link above
should be in the open.  The gist of it is, Ballmer was in Portland to
give a local university some $$$.
