[K12OSN] dns name res for windows boxes

Hello All,

Could someone point me to a good howto,or how to do any entry in dhcp/dns
/named.conf of how to let a linux server/k12ltsp v5, reslove the netbios
name of a windows(xp) box,rather than the default of [ws002] > for ip
192.168.0.2?
In other words when i look at Ntop id like to know what windows machine
name is of ip 192.168.0.2 ,rather than ws002.
BTW: in ntop ,of course if an ip address is hard coded into that machine
it will show up by the machines netbios name.
 I know i've read a while back on how to do this but never book marked a
good walkthrough,,,1..2..3..Done.
