What do you see when you run 'ls -ld /home/krsnendu' as another user?

When I try to login with ssh this is what I get.
login as: krsnendu
krsnendu at hkschool.dyndns.ws's password:
Last login: Thu Nov 30 13:15:49 2006 from 124.197.17.180
Could not chdir to home directory /home/krsnendu: Permission denied
-bash: /home/krsnendu/.bash_profile: Permission denied

Out of the blue I can't log in using my regular user name. Every other
user can log in.
I get the message

bash: /home/krsnendu/.bashrc: Permission denied
I have check the permissions for /home/krsnendu and .bashrc they both
seem the same as every other user.

I am not sure what I have done. How do I fix this?
I get the feeling that the file is locked somehow but I dont know what
to do about it.
