Hi

I had a lot of problems with SATA drives setup as a raid set.  They 
would get out of sync especially after a power outage but a times for no 
reason at all.

On a reboot, the grub menu would display an error similar to the above. 
  I checked the disks with Seagate tools, etc. nothing was wrong.

On a hunch, I changed the SATA cables.  That was a number of months ago 
and I have had absolutely no problems since then.  Prior to the change I 
was losing a LVM disk and raid sync at least every few weeks.
