K12OSN:

Our District has been using Lettergrade(www.jasminetech.com) as our
grade book for almost 4 years. Due to some recent changes in the
company, we may be forced to use a different product, perhaps as soon as
Summer 2007.

When our Assistant Business Manager approached me with this news, I saw
it as an opportunity to push Open Source solutions on him. I theorized
that it may be worth our while to look at the possibility of using an
open source grade book that provided us with the features we require.
Rather than pay a company to provide support, we can instead place that
money into development staff who can provide us with the customization
we require while placing code back into the open source community.

We're looking at SchoolTool.org. What are some other open source
Student Information and Gradebook systems?
