biggest problem I have with Dell is they will not sell me a machine
without software installed, this is especially a problem with laptops

I am 100% windoze free  and just don't want to be bothered with licenses
etc etc etc.  M$ sees the sale and assumes you have bought a license.
might be part of the problem with pricing, schools charged more for the
software license by M$
