[K12OSN] [K12LTSP] enable root login from remote-terminal

In Gnome there is a setting for logins that allows you to login to a GUI as
root. Check the option allow root login from terminal or something like
that. In the same control panel you can change the picture for the terminal
login screen etc.

I am guessing this is what you are after.
