Well it seems i found the problem...now I need someone's help with why. The
switch is actually a Dell Power Connect 3324. It is working fine, however it
appears the switch issues an error and resets the switch somehow, and it
seems to be when the client tries to connect to the server. Here is the
console output of the switch. Could anyone suggest what to look at on the
server? I used a 10 Port 10Mb Asante Hub and it worked fine.

Segment where the error occurs on the Dell Switch Console:

Right now this is only a trial of it, but I have these switches is other
places and would like to know that they can be used as I have 2 free and the
are 10/100 switches with 2 10/100/1000 Connectors or SFP modules.
