I don't think you understand the concept of a wiki. If you don't
like something, change it.

Try joining a few dozen mailing lists and forums before you decide
which you like better. Forums become very cumbersome when you have
more than a couple of interests. What I've been doing with mailing
lists (just not this one yet) is move them to a gmail account which
I've set up to permit POP access but to save an archive copy. That
way I read/reply in my normal mailer and can delete as I go, but
if I ever want to backtrack or search for old messages I can use
the gmail web access to do it across all my lists at once. The price
is right (free), they screen spam, and you get 2 gigs of archive
space.
