[K12OSN] usb ports?

Hi,

I'd like my students to be able to save work to thumbdrives, but they don't
have permssions to the USB ports (I guess).  Dumb question, I know, but how
do I do that.  I'm the one with fat client edubuntu / ubuntu server.
