Yes, there has been quite a few threads about this in the past.

The summary is that there has not been enough space to host CDs and
DVDs. Adding DVDs requires an additional 7G per release.

CDs are more important than DVDs in that DVD drives will read CDs, but
CD drives won't read DVDs. So CD-only it has been.


I have plenty of free space on the new server, so I'll most likely make
a DVD for K12LTSP 6.0.0.
