AFAIK, all add-in video cards have _some_ RAM. Even the low-end ones
have at least 8 megs. I believe only embedded video uses shared RAM,
and sometimes even _that_ has dedicated RAM (one reason I bought a
particular Toshiba laptop 3 years ago).
