Ted,

Sounds to me like dhcpd was one of the packages that was updated. The 
guys at ISC have modified newer versions of dhcpd to behave a bit 
differently. Fortunately, there's an easy fix. You just need a 
'next-server' entry in your dhcpd.conf file.
