[K12OSN] HELP SERVER FROZEN

I was not able to get terminals to boot or smb clients to connect to our
K12LTSP 5.0 server. Under services everything seemed normal except smb has a
message something like "There a pid but it is dead". It restarted ok, but I
still couldn't connect.  I restarted ldap and xinet. None of this seemed to
help, so I tried to reboot. While shutting down there was a message about
RPC error - 5. I am not sure what that is all about. At a certain point (I
think to do with Automount.) it seemed to get stuck so I hit the reset
button. Now it restarts fine until it gets to automount. Then it freezes.

I tried rebooting again and this time it says ldap is corrupted. So I
rebooted again using interactive startup. Leaving out ldap, nfs and dhcpd.
When I get near the end of the interactive startup a graphical blue screen
and a cursor appear and it gets stuck there.

What should I do? Now?
