Actually Tim....since it only affects the terminals at boot time....what I
did was make 2 lts.conf files....one called lts.conf.linux and one called
lts.conf.windows.....then I make a symlink called lts.conf and wrote a
little script that I could use with a launcher on my desktop to redo the
symlink....in other words....if I wanted Windows sound....I click the
Windows Sound Launcher and it simply changed the symlink to point to
lts.conf.windows.....when I wanted Linux sound.....(you get the idea).
The nice thing is....if a terminal boots while the lts.conf is point to
linux sound....it will have linux sound until reboot....whereas the same
is true for Windows sound...so you can have your cake and eat it too
during the testing provided the folks who need linux sound don't reboot
their terminals
