[K12OSN] Trouble installing k12 v5

I've never tried to install it on a laptop, but I've run into that problem before.  The 
last time I did I managed to get around it, I partitioned the drive on a different 
machine, and then when I got to the partitioning part of the installation, told it to 
just use the existing partitions without reformatting them.

BTW, which Sony laptop?  I've been looking at the VGNS660P at the local dealer.  I've 
tested the Kubuntu liveCD in it, and it recognized the wireless card, unlike all the 
Compaqs I've tried lately.  Plus, at 4.3 pounds, it's in the weight-range I'm after.
