[K12OSN] Printing from TuxPaint to HP Printers

Hi,

Whenever my daughter tries to print her work from TuxPaint on the thin
client it prints out about 200 pages of jibberish. Each page has a
series of random heiroglyphic looking things accross the top and not
much else. This happened with my old Black and White HP 1012 that I had
on the network using the foomatic driver and a DLink print server.

But recently I bought an HP Color LaserJet 2550n printer with built in
JetDirect server. I've tried the HP drivers and foomatic - 3 different
drivers. 2 of them print nothing (not even the test page) and the third
prints the 200 pages of jibberish from TuxPaint while all other apps
seem to print OK with this driver.

So, I'm wondering about the special print commands in the TuxPaint setup
utility. I have no idea where to even start? I've tried getting
Tuxpaint to pop open a regular print dialog and it says that my print
system can't support the image/x-eps file format. It can't even print
to pdf so I can print that.

What other print commands are there and how do I learn their syntax?
Can someone give me some pointers? Or, possibly someone here has gotten
TuxPaint to print on a 2550 and can tell me exactly what to do.

Thanks,

CK
