I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but this is a site  
i use to produce all my invoices when i do computer work for people.  
It has an ajax interface and makes invoices for you. It also keeps  
tracks of your time, services, and items used. Anyway its very nice  
and maybe it will work for you.
