Hi Mikko,

On your server do this in a terminal:  tail -f /var/log/messages
Now boot the client,
Copy/Paste here what the messages you are getting .this will indicate were
the boot process is exactly dying.
And,,,what brand and number of NIC example:Realtek8139 is in this client.
This may help in tshooting it as well.
Report back your findings.
