A quick add-on. Is it possible that this is due to something hanging with
Firefox?  I have tried deleting the .mozilla directory for some users, but
they still hang. However, the system also shows Firefox using 30%-50% of the
cpu for a single instance of the browser, and the user isn't doing anything
at all but viewing a static page.
