If you've done a 'yum update' in the last year or so you should be fine. 
  You can check with:
zdump -v CST6CDT |grep 2007
  (or any US timezone)

If it doesn't mention Mar 11 and you don't want to do a full update,
yum update tzdata
will just get the time zone files.
