[K12OSN] Getting sound to work with LTSP-esd-alsa

Did you double-check for the presence of /tmp/.esd/socket?  The /etc/cron.daily/tmpwatch 
script tends to remove it if it's not use for a few days, say, over Winter Break when no 
one is at the school.  I usually add it to the 'exception' list in tmpwatch so that it 
doesn't remove it.
