of times after interval of a minute or so and you can see the progress of

So, you are saying,

Run this,
mdadm --assemble /dev/md2 -m 2 /dev/hda2 /dev/hdc2 /dev/hdd2

Then wait a min, and run:

mdadm -D /dev/md2    wait a while and run it again and see if its
progressing?
